WALT use poetic verse to recount an event we have participated in.

The Cross Country was usual enough ; it had the blue skies , the green grass , the trees , the rustling leaves and even the red faced runners. My friends my classmates and I did what kids do - frolicked in the grass , ran past fellow students , cheered for my friends , laughed in the shade , had a good time and tried our best. Doing what we do best.
