I can describe several ideas for creating school designs.

And

I can compare and contrast ideas between Oaklands School in 2016 and what it could look like in the future.

I can look at these qualities in a new way by creating and presenting an idea for what Oaklands School might look like in the future.

Oaklands School should have Work Cubicles

I strongly believe that in the year 2026 all learning spaces at Oaklands School should have Single Work Cubicles.

To start off, I strongly believe Oaklands should have Single Work Cubicles for Independent Learners who enjoy having their own space. Children in the 21st Century will think it’s cool to have an option of a group or independent space.  Infact, you can stick your learning goals to the walls and learning you are proud of can stick on too. It gives a child freedom to be Independent and have space. Most tables are an outrageously small and you don't get any space for learning which makes it uncomfortable  having no space. At the same time we need a lot of Cubicles because children fight over independence.

Furthermore, a Single Work Space would provide a child with Independence towards learning. It would help a child's learning by not being distracted by anyone else. The walls on either side are soundproof so you can't hear anyone. Your learning will improve by being independent in High School because you must be independent in testing .

In addition, the design for single work cubicles is very detailed; Three walls, a door, drawers, desk, light (lamp) and a chair. The chair is a spinning chair because they are comfortable to learn on. It must be colourful so the class looks exciting and fun. The three walls are soundproof so you can concentrate more easily. The pros of this are you’re concentrating and able to learn with no noise. To support the walls you need a door. For access to the cubicle you have a swipe card that allows you in and out of it so it will lock and unlock when you’re in it. The desk is a weird shape with a chunk out in the middle for the chair. It is certain you need drawers for your lunch box , drink bottle and books. The light is small but bright.

In my mind, Single Work Cubicles will help children's learning by teaching them to be independent and to be able to learn lots. In the 21st Century this will help learning by giving children a choice. Thank you for considering my opinion.

Charlottes Fractions Work

I am proud of this learning because this strategy was quite hard for me to learn. I learnt the denominator  needs to have the numerator carried over to make it correct.

Next step : To make harder questions for myself to answer to challenge me.

Pros (For) MUFTI
Cons (Against) UNIFORM
  • We don't get enough time to wear mufti.
  • It represents your school and where you come from.

Intro: Do you like school uniform because I know I dont thats why I think we shouldn't wear school uniform.

1: Children should get a chance to express themselves by wearing things that they like not what the school likes. Kids need a chance to show their full potential of what they like they can show what their like by using style in their clothing.

Idea - Our clothes at home are longing to be worn because we’re at school 5 days a week for 30 hours. We only have the weekends to wear mufti. It's annoying Mums & Dads are wasting money on mufti clothes that we hardly get to wear.
2: Uniforms are expensive they are an average cost of $100. We have a tshirt , sweatshirt , polarfleece, tracksuit pants , shorts , colors , white , black , red and green socks ,  sneakers or black leathered shoes.

Uniforms get worn 5 days a week for 30 hours it's like a work uniform. Uniforms are a waste of money they are too hot. We can't play in them like we do with our mufti because they will rip and it  will be a waste of money were as mufti clothes are about $5-10. If we rip mufti it's an easy replacement cheap and affordable. And Uniform is not another $50.
3: In summer when it 30 degrees we are burning we have to wear thick clothes that make us really hot. Were as if we are wearing mufti we would be nice and cool in our cotton clothes that keep us really cool.

We get too hot. Kids feel like they are going to get heat stroke. We should be able to wear what we want to make us suit whatever the weather.
In conclusion I strongly believe we shouldn’t wear school uniform and if you don’t well then you do not know what you are talking about.

I believe School Uniforms are expensive they are an average cost of $100. We have a tshirt , sweatshirt , polarfleece, tracksuit pants , shorts , collotes , white , black , red and green socks ,  sneakers or black leathered shoes. We don't wear all them anyways most days we just wear shoes, socks , shirt and polar fleece waste of money for the extra things.

Another reason is that uniforms get worn 5 days a week for 30 hours it's like a work uniform. Uniforms are a waste of money they are too hot. We can't play in them like we do with our mufti because they will rip and it  will be a waste of
money were as mufti clothes are about $5-10. If we rip mufti it's an easy replacement cheap and affordable. Really parents don't want to pay another $20 -40 on a uniform which is just a waste.

I strongly think that in summer when it 30 degrees we are burning we have to wear thick clothes that make us really hot. Were as if we are wearing mufti we would be nice and cool in our cotton clothes that keep us really cool. We get too hot. Kids feel like they are going to get heat stroke. We should be able to wear what we want to make us suit whatever the weather. If your cold bring a jersey if you're hot just bring / wear cotton.

In conclusion I strongly believe we shouldn’t wear school uniform and you should feel comfortable in your clothes ready for a day of learning in the more relaxed modern learning environment.
